Ubtech Jim's Mini Kit is an interactive 249 -piece kit with which children create one of three moving robotic animals.The movement of individual parts is provided by small servo motors with high torque, connected to the main control unit in the form of a small gray box.The detailed construction process and robot control are then available in a mobile app, compatible with smart phones or tablets running Android or iOS.
The kit has been designed withan emphasis on ease of use and safety.The pieces fit together and you do not need any special tools to build the robot.
The Jim Open Source control platform gives you a wide range of options for controlling and building the robot. You also get the abilityto invent your own movementsusing a simple coding language. Through the Open Source platform, you can also communicate with Jim fans and compare your robots and the moves they are able to do with each other.
