The TP-Link RE715X WiFi extender extends the coverage of your wireless network in areas with a weak signal and eliminates dead zones in your home. This dual-band product supports the WiFi 6 standard and operates in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with a total transmission speed of up to 3Gb/s. The device has two external antennas to direct the signal and one gigabit ethernet port for a stable wired connection. With a power consumption of 15.2W, the device complements your existing network elements and increases the overall capacity of wireless data transmission in buildings. In addition to its function as a range extender, this device also works as a standalone access point. When you connect an ethernet cable to the gigabit RJ-45 port, it transforms your wired network into a dual-band wireless network. Users can easily switch between the two operating modes as needed.

High speed with WiFi 6 technology
The device uses the 802.11ax standard, which brings higher capacity and efficiency to wireless transmission. In the 5GHz band, it reaches transfer speeds of up to 2402Mb/s, and in the 2.4GHz band, it's 574Mb/s. Thanks to 1024-QAM support, this device offers 25% higher data throughput compared to older standards. The 160MHz bandwidth in the 5GHz band provides double the speed of standard 80MHz channels.
Stable coverage
Four high-performance amplifiers transmit a strong signal even to harder-to-reach areas in houses or flats. Beamforming technology detects the location of connected phones or laptops and concentrates wireless power towards them. The OFDMA function integrates data from different end devices, which reduces network latency and increases overall transmission efficiency when multiple users are connected simultaneously.
Stable connection
This device supports EasyMesh technology, which creates a unified Mesh network with compatible routers. Users can move freely around the house without losing connection, as the system automatically switches to a more suitable access point. The adaptive path selection feature ensures a fast connection route to the router.
Easy management
Network setup is done by pressing the WPS button or via the TP-Link Tether mobile app, which is available for Android and iOS. In the app, you can select three levels of signal strength to customise the coverage for a specific area. You can also manage access rights and set a power schedule. The device works with any standard wireless routers and access points on the market. Data security is ensured by modern WPA, WPA2, and the WPA3 standard encryption protocols.
