Centre of the mouse is traditionally dominated by the scroll wheel, under which is a button to change the DPI (800/1600/2400). Furthermore, on the upper side, there is also a battery indicator and also sensitivity setting.
On the left side of the mouse, at your thumb, there are other buttons. They are the back/forward browser, zoom in/out, and the new button to bring up the Start menu.
