Ubiquiti EdgeRouter PRO

The EdgeRouter ER-8 is a powerful rack router from the Ubiquiti EdgeMAX product line. It has six ethernet ports, a pair of SFP ports, and a 1000MHz dual-core processor, which makes it suitable for medium and large businesses where it will ensure routing in the corporate network. The router guarantees a high throughput of up to 2 million packets per second and achieves 99.9% uptime, making it much more expensive for routers.

Wide Configuration Options

The EdgeOS operating system is a part of the router. This highly stable system with many useful features supports IPv6 protocol, static routing, along with OSPFv3, RIP, and BGP protocols. As for security features, the system offers ACL and Zone firewalls, NAT, OpenVPN, IPSec, and PPTL L2TP protocols. Of course, you also get DHCP, DNS forwarding, and Quality of Service (QoS) features.

Easy Management

The router offers an intuitive Advanced UI graphical user interface that will help you control all of the features described above, as well as monitor the current status of the device. Logging of events and detailed traffic statistics is also available. The interface is easily accessible through a web browser. Alternatively, the router can be configured through access via serial port and CLI, or via SSH.
