The Valeo VA 632030 auto-turn-on system ensures that the lights are switched on immediately when light conditions deteriorate. Once there is an improvement in the lighting, the lights turn off again. You will also appreciate the automatic system when you're in a tunnel, in an underground parking area or when there is a sudden weather deterioration.The system is based on an optical sensor that is installed on the windscreen. It constantly evaluates the intensity of light. If the intensity drops below 1000 lux, it sends a signal to the control unit to activate the vehicle illumination - contour, damp and rear lights, dashboard lighting and SPZ illumination. The lights are switched off automatically within 20 seconds from the moment when the light intensity rises above 3000 lux. The system can be switched off completely by means of a switch on the light sensor.

Notice:
It can not be installed on Peugeot and Citroën models manufactured after 2002 because of the special multiplex wiring used in these vehicles which prevent the instruments panel illumination from gaining the necessary data when the "Light on/off" lights are on and off.
