Valve Index virtual reality goggles offer a 130° field of view and two LCD panels with a resolution of 1,440 x 1,600 pixels per eye. The total resolution is therefore 2,880 × 1,600 pixels. The base refresh rate is 120Hz, but you can also use lower frequencies - 80 and 90Hz for backward compatibility and an overclocked mode with 144Hz. The Valve Index headset features a dual-element lens system with a 5° tilt. The lenses are particularly notable for maintaining sharpness over most of the field of view. This makes it easier to see the image in the periphery. You will appreciate that the goggles allow you to adjust the distance of the lenses from the eyes and the lenses themselves from each other. Valve Index glasses come with Valve Index Controllers.

Rich and Immersive Audio

The front of the Valve Index features two 960×960 pixel cameras tracking the outside environment, enabling the creation of augmented reality. Another highlight are the non-contact headphones that completely immerse you in virtual reality. There's also a 3.5mm jack for connecting your own headphones and, of course, a dual microphone. You'll also appreciate the ergonomic design made of antibacterial materials. The face mask is also replaceable. The SteamVR Tracking 2.0 technology guarantees high quality and a longer station range. You can connect the headset to your computer via DisplayPort 1.2, USB 3.2 and 12V power supply.


Valve Index Controllers Included

Valve index controllers are designed to accurately track every single hand movement to offer maximum comfort. This combination allows for incredibly natural virtual reality control. Valve Index controllers use advanced optical and motion sensors (87 sensors in each controller) to track movement, position in space, and finger grip strength - combined with software and algorithms, these sensors can minutely sense the player's intentions. Forget about buttons disrupting your virtual reality immersion. With Valve Index controllers, you can reach out, pick up an in-game object directly in your hand, and then drop it again by stretching your fingers. And you can give a teammate a thumbs up just as easily. The controllers' safety straps ensure that the controllers never fall out of your hand, plus they're made of an antibacterial fabric that wicks away moisture and is easy to wash.
