The Velbon EX-230 is particularly suited for working with CSC cameras (Olympus PEN, Sony NEX, Nikon V1, etc.), ultrazooms, classic compact cameras and handheld camcorders. The EX series replaces the popular CX lineup and brings a brand new square profile for greater stability and is lighter for easier portability. Their more secure clamps and biaxial head with a 1" screw attachment make handling easier.
The EX-230 stands out for its outstanding stability, the quality of the materials used, the practical and quick height control. It is made of lightweight aluminium in combination with plastic components. The tripod has radial leg braces which increase its overall stability.
