Velbon EX-540
The Velbon EX-540 is especially suited for DSLR cameras, CSC cameras (Olympus PEN, Sony NEX, Nikon V1 etc ...), utrazooms and small handheld camcorders. The EX series replaces the popular CX series and brings a brand new square foot profile for greater stability, it is also lighter for easier portability. Their more secure clamps and lever head with a quick-release mechanism make it easy to lock the camrea independently in all three axes.
The EX-540 stands out due to its great stability, the quality of the materials used, practical and fast height control, and positioning and locking of the head separately in three axes. It is made of lightweight aluminium in combination with plastic components. The smooth and precise movement of the centre rod is ensured by the handle and the toothed gear. The tripod is equipped with a spirit level and radial struts between the legs that increase its overall stability.
