These are specifically designed for the most demanding users, therefore offer maximum data transfer speeds, versatile connectivity, and great capacity.

Satisfy even the most demanding users

When the drive is connected to a USB 3.0 port, it can reach unprecedented data transfer speeds. For example, you will copy HD quality films in a fraction of the time it takes other similar devices. The actual transfer rate is close to 5 Gbit/s. Surprisingly, this drive doesn't even require an external power supply, and can run using only power from a USB port. To maximize compatibility, the Elements Portable can work with the older USB 2.0 as well.

Secure and reliable

Its weatherproof housing provides great protection, but for even further security, Elements Portable come with a trial version of WD SmartWare Pro. This software ensures regular and automatic backups, but can also synchronize your data with your Dropbox cloud service. It can also encrypt your sensitive files if required.

POZOR! každému komu nejde tento disk v TV alebo inde mám po 2 hodinách skúšania riešenie. Nie je problém so zdrojom napájania 0,5A/1A ani s maximálnou kapacitou disku či ntfs/fat32/exfat.. Treba len konvertovať disk na MBR (defaultne je GPT) Vo win7 sa to robí cez správu počítača - správa diskov. Pri konvertovaní sa zmažú všetky dáta. Keby Vám to vyhodí chybu (name pack invalid) tak treba premenovať PC na názov bez diakritiky. Dúfam, že som pomohol. PS: Pozdravujem alza expertov :D

dobrý den můžu externí disk použít jak pro setobox tak pro notebook? stáhnout film z TV pro pozdější přehrání, uložení filmu z internetu a přehrání přes setobox v TV,

Dobrý den, zakoupila jsem disk jako dárek k Vánocum pro přehrávání filmů v TV, bohužel ho TV ani přehrávač nenačte. Jde o TV LG 47LW4500. Poradí prosím někdo, co s tím? Pomůže nové naformátování disku? Děkuji.
