High-speed external disk Western Digital My Book with elegant design is especially designed to expand the storage capacity of desktop computers. It is already preformatted so that it can be used immediately - without having to set it just connect and you are ready to back up. Through the interface USB 3.0 disk can handle data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gb/s , backward compatible also with USB 2.0 . With a capacity of 2 TB you have enough space to store precious memories and important files

Along with the disc you also get software WD SmartWare allowing backup with password protection and capacity gauge. It works quietly in the background to protect your data using minimal PC performance. Save or changed file is backed up immediately. The encryption of discrete information is available to program WD Security , Advanced features, and provide an analysis of the disk WD Drive Utilities .

Dobrý den, chtěl bych se zeptat. Když připojím tento externí HDD do routeru TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND, který má USB pro to určený, jak ten disk ve všech počítačích uvidím? Jak do něj budu přistupovat, když budu chtít na něj uložit data? Budu se moc na něj připojit i z jiného místa než doma, když mám veřejnou IP? Děkuji za odpověď. Petr

Dobrý den, mám dotaz na kompatibilitu disků WD s Mac? U některých produktů je napsané určení pro operační systém Windows, někde specifikace vůbec není.
