WD Purple Pro 14TB
The WD Purple Pro 14TB hard disk is one of the high load internal HDDs for monitoring systems. The 3.5" format is designed mainly for desktop PCs and data centres. One of the crucial parameters is clearly the rotational speed of the HDD. The 7200 RPM RPM provides improved performance and data speeds. The hard disk provides a storage capacity of 14000 GB. The device has a 512 MB memory cache. The data transfer between the Western Digital hard drive and other hardware is takes place using the SATA III interface.

The HDD boasts a unique design. The enclosure conceals a mechanism with moving platters accompanied by disk read/write heads.
