Proč se tyto disky s technologií zápisu SMR uvádějí se zde jako vhodné do NAS Do NAS vzadnem případě nic s technologií SMR a už vůbec ne do RAIDU. Tyto disky SMR by měli být podstatně levnější , protože její papírové parametry jsou stejné neli horší než jejich ekvivalent, který není zde uváděn jako vhodný pro NAS. Je to vlastně pouze obyčejný disk.

The WD Red 3TB hard disk is one of the high load internal HDDs for the NAS storage solution environment. 3.5" HDDs are designed primarily for desktop computers and data centres. One of the most important characteristics is obviously the number of revolutions per minute (RPM). The 5400 RPM RPM meets the needs of most typical users. You can look forward to a total data capacity of 3000 GB. The drive has a 256 MB memory cache. You can link the Western Digital hard disk and other hardware is takes place via the SATA III interface.
