NASware Technology and High Reliability
Red Pro drives consult with challenging NAS environemnts thanks to NASware 3.0. This ensures seamless integration into the NAS drive, tremendous data protection and optimal performance at lower power consumption. Control mechanisms are also part of the technology for error recovery to prevent possible failure of the unit due to RAID array failures. You no longer need to worry about unexpected power failure either, because NASware will ensure that requests are completed before shutting down.
The dual actuator mechanics improve positional accuracy of the data tracks and the adjustment of the head, thereby achieving higher overall accuracy of the NAS. The drive can also manage vibrations that could happen in the data cache. It is in charge of StableTrac, whose task is to manage the motor shaft at both ends, and thus reduce the level of vibration.
