These are specifically designed for the most demanding users, therefore offer maximum data transfer speeds, versatile connectivity, and great capacity.

Satisfy even the most demanding users

When the drive is connected to a USB 3.0 port, it can reach unprecedented data transfer speeds. For example, you will copy HD quality films in a fraction of the time it takes other similar devices. The actual transfer rate is close to 5 Gbit/s. Surprisingly, this drive doesn't even require an external power supply, and can run using only power from a USB port. To maximize compatibility, the Elements Portable can work with the older USB 2.0 as well.

Secure and reliable

Its weatherproof housing provides great protection, but for even further security, Elements Portable come with a trial version of WD SmartWare Pro. This software ensures regular and automatic backups, but can also synchronize your data with your Dropbox cloud service. It can also encrypt your sensitive files if required.

Dobrý den, koupila jsem tento disk, bohužel nám žádné zařízení krom PC "nezvládá" USB 3. Můžete mi poradit co s tím? Pomůže např. nějaká redukce z USB3 na USB2? Předem Vám děkuji za pomoc. K.Kopecká.

Dobrý den, máme tento disk 1,5TB, je v pořádku, když tento disk stále bliká, i když se PC vypne nebo uspí? Máme několik disků a každý, když se NTB uspal nebo vypne, tak disky zhasnou. Ale tento disk ne. Navíc se stalo, že jsem na něj ze svého NTB něco zkopírovala a když se zapojil do jiného NTB, tak část těch souborů tam nebyla, zmizela. Upozorňuji, že disky odpojujeme jak se má. Nejprv příkaz k odebrání a teprve když to hlásí, že se může bezpečně odebrat, tak se disk vytáhne.

Dobrý den, všechna data včetně adresáře dnes nahraná na notebooku s USB 3, po připojení k PC s USB 2 zmizela a nenajdu je ani zpětně na notebooku. Děje se to opakovaně. Zná někdo příčinu? Domníval jsem se, že USB 2 a 3 jsou kompatibilní.

Dobry den, uvazuji o tomto disku jako o mediu pro filmy, pohadky pro syna ve spojeni s TV. Je mozne mit tento disk permanentne pripojeny k TV, nebo je nutne ho odpojovat? Pri odpojeni, tedy vytazeni kabelu bez moznosti systemoveho odpojeni, nedojde k poskozeni dat? Poskozeni disku? Dekuji PF
