While it is formatted so that it can be used immediately with Apple Mac desktops, but can be reformatted for Microsoft Windows. Via USB 3.0 drive can handle data transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s, it is also backward compatible with USB 2.0. The device supports Apple Time Machine, which are used for simple data backup and clearly arranged.
