Through the network, it supports high resolution DSD playback of 5.6MHz, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF up to 192kHz/24bits, or Apple Lossless with 96kHz/24bits. The WXA-50 is compatible with a host of popular streaming services to find songs of all styles. Using Spotify, Tidal and Deezer, Napster, Qobuz, Juke and other services, you can access music from all over the world and enjoy your favorite artists.

Through MusicCast, it works with other Multi-room components

If you really love music, the YAMAHA WXA-50 network player opens new listening dimensions. With MusicCast integration, it becomes part of the Multi-room environment. This means that it connects with other Multi-room components such as portable speakers, sound bars and small HiFi systems. You can control all Multiroom components from one place (using the MusicCAST CONTROLLER app for iOS and Android) to play the same music in all rooms, or different music by room.
