Zalman ZM-SHE500 is an external box for 2.5" SATA drives that offer advanced security features, a touchscreen and a keyboard. The great advantage over competitor products is that the data will be protected by a high level of security using an AES XTS 256bit algorithm, which even the US government uses to encrypt their data. Additionally, the design is very attractive, featuring a touch keyboard with 12 keys and a mirrored surface on the back of the device.

The Maximum Level of Security
You can choose a 4 to 8 digit PIN code and the choice will therefore be more than tens of millions of number combinations. The procedure for entering a new password, changing the PIN or unlocking the disk drive is easy and intuitive thanks to the clear information display, on which it's possible to see for example disk temperature, running time or connection type. Even if the box is lost or stolen, you can be sure that your data will never be read. The external box Zalman ZM-SHE500 encrypts the disk so that data cannot be read, even when the drive is inserted into another box.
If there was physical damage to the box, there's still a way to save data through a combination of product serial number and the correct password. If a user forgets the password, it is impossible to recover the data.
USB 3.0 Connector
The USB 3.0 connector provides fast data transfer, offering 2 to 10 times higher speed compared to the older version. Of course, there is backward compatibility with USB 2.0. If you want to be sure that your data will not be misused and will be kept safe, choose this unique security box from Zalman. The package includes a protective case with a zip pocket, USB 3.0 cable, screwdriver and screws for easy disk installation.
