The ROG Falchion Ace HFX is a 65% analogue gaming keyboard featuring pre-lubricated ROG HFX magnetic switches, a Rapid Trigger switch, Speed Tap mode, an interactive touch panel, an 8000Hz polling rate, five-layer damping and a silicone gasket, two Type-C ports, three tilt angles, and a protective cover. The ROG Falchion Ace HFX is a compact 65% analogue gaming keyboard that features ROG HFX magnetic switches with customisable key actuation from 0.1mm to 4.0mm and a dedicated Rapid Trigger switch for the fastest typing response. The 8000Hz polling rate ensures an exceptionally fast response, making the keyboard significantly faster than other models. Five-layer damping and a silicone gasket absorb sounds and vibrations, contributing to a softer typing feel. The multi-function button and interactive touch panel enable intuitive actuation point adjustments and easy control of multimedia files, volume, and keyboard lighting. Two USB-C ports on the left and right sides of the rear of the keyboard offer flexible connectivity and the ability to switch between two PCs quickly and seamlessly.

Adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger

The ROG HFX magnetic switches offer an adjustable key actuation range from 0.1mm to 4.0mm to satisfy any typing preference. You can adjust the actuation point using the multi-function button and touch panel, or via the Armoury Crate software. A special switch on the rear panel of the keyboard activates the Rapid Trigger function on the ROG Falchion Ace HFX for the fastest typing and repeated key press response. By default, only the WASD keys are enabled when the function is activated. The Rapid Trigger function for other keys can be enabled using the Armoury Crate software. Traditional mechanical switches require a return to a reset point before the next click is registered. With ROG HFX magnetic switches and the Rapid Trigger function, the switch resets instantly on the upward movement, delivering maximum counter-strafing potential with minimal effort.

Speed Tap and extremely fast response

In Speed Tap (SOCD) mode, once the system detects two key presses (e.g. A and D), it prioritises the last one pressed and automatically releases the previous one. This means that in FPS games, pressing two opposite directional keys no longer causes your character to stop moving. You can change direction instantly without needing to release the previous key, eliminating the time lag for counter-strafing and ensuring precise aiming every time. A high-speed USB microcontroller delivers an 8000Hz polling rate, which refreshes the keystroke up to 8x faster than most gaming keyboards, reducing the delay from 1 millisecond to just 0.125ms.

Touch control and quiet typing

The multi-function button and interactive touch panel let you adjust various settings, including volume, media playback, keyboard lighting, and actuation point, as well as customise commands. The LED light panel at the top of the keyboard also displays dynamic lighting effects that reflect real-time adjustments. The Falchion Ace HFX keyboard uses five damping layers, two PORON and three silicone, which absorb keystroke vibrations and clicking noise for a pleasant typing experience.

RGB backlighting and customisation

 The ROG PBT doubleshot keycaps offer a premium feel and long-lasting durability. The keycap design has been optimised with mid-height keycaps and a shorter stem to reduce key wobble and provide greater user comfort. With Aura Sync RGB, you have the full colour spectrum at your disposal along with a range of dynamic lighting effects. Individually backlit keys let you create a keyboard that is uniquely yours. Armoury Crate unifies system and lighting controls. Easily create, define and customise scenario profiles, map keys, and record macros. You can also use analogue customisation features such as Dynamic Keystroke (DKS), Mod Tap (MT), and analogue lighting effects.
