Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/CO) is a modern wireless detector that reliably detects dangerous temperature rise and the presence of carbon monoxide. Thanks to a pair of sensitive thermistors and a precision electrochemical CO sensor, it can react in time and warn users via a built-in 85 dB siren, LED signalling and push notifications in the mobile app. Operation is provided by non-replaceable lithium batteries with a lifetime of up to 10 years. The device can be used standalone or integrated into an Ajax system for expanded capabilities, including multiple detector interconnection and advanced automation. Jeweller radio technology with a range of up to 1,700 m and AES encryption provides a stable and secure connection. The Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/CO) detector is designed for indoor use, meets the stringent European standards EN 54-5 and EN 50291 and offers easy installation with the SmartBracket panel.

High sensitivity and fast response
FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/CO) uses two Class A1R thermistors located outside the enclosure to eliminate detection delays. The device reliably responds to a rapid temperature rise of 10 °C per minute or exceeding the +64 °C threshold. The integrated electrochemical CO sensor warns at 50 ppm within 90 minutes and provides protection even against low but dangerous gas concentrations.
Stable operation and minimal maintenance
Thanks to advanced hardware and software, the detector delivers stable performance throughout its 10-year lifespan. The built-in battery informs of low capacity for at least 30 days before discharge and the warning is displayed both in the app and directly on the detector via LED indication and acoustic signal. In addition, the design is protected against unauthorized removal and radio signal interference.
Easy installation and wide compatibility
The SmartBracket mounting panel allows for fast and precise fixing to the ceiling without the need to disassemble the device. The Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/CO) detector is compatible with Ajax hubs and ReX range extenders, supports automation scenarios and can be managed via the Ajax mobile app in both English and Czech. Thanks to the connection of multiple detectors, sirens can be triggered throughout the building in 20 seconds in the event of an alarm
