Ethiopian Arabica with a fruity character
AlzaCafé Single Origin Ethiopia is a 100% Arabica with a fruity flavour profile and distinctive notes of ripe yuzu and cocoa. The beans come from the Ethiopian Sidamo region, known for growing coffee with a diverse flavour character and typical fruity notes. The resulting combination of a fresher fruit expression and cocoa creates an interesting contrast that stands out best in espresso preparation. Medium roasting takes place in the Czech Republic, which shortens the journey from the roaster to the customer and helps to preserve freshness, taste, and aroma.

Sidamo is one of the most famous coffee-growing regions in Ethiopia. The coffee trees here grow at altitudes of approximately 1,600–2,200m. Coffee has a long tradition in the region and is grown in diverse conditions – from smaller orchards to forest and semi-forest areas to plantations. Coffee production is also an important source of livelihood for local people.
Roasted in the Czech Republic
After harvesting, the coffee beans are processed using the washed method, which contributes to a cleaner taste expression and lets their natural notes stand out better. Roasting takes place directly in the Czech Republic, thanks to which AlzaCafé coffee reaches customers a shorter time after roasting and can better retain its freshness, taste, and aroma. The medium roast highlights the natural character of the beans while developing the fullness of taste without suppressing typical flavour notes.
Fresh to the very last bean
We recommend unpacking the coffee just before preparation and carefully sealing the packaging after each use using the practical zip. The three-layer design protects the beans from air access, while the one-way valve allows the escape of carbon dioxide, which is naturally released from the coffee after roasting. To preserve taste, aroma, and freshness, store the coffee in a dry place with a constant temperature, away from the fridge or freezer, where it could absorb moisture and surrounding odours.
