The robust construction ensures maximum stability and long life, while the gas spring lets you adjust the height and position of the screen smoothly and almost effortlessly. A quick-release VESA plate makes installation incredibly easy, allowing you to mount your monitor in moments. The flexible gas-spring design lets you set up your monitor exactly how you need it to maximise your workspace. The AlzaErgo Arm S50B Heavy Duty arm offers a truly wide range of motion, so you can always fine-tune the screen position to your preference. Tilt (±45°), swivel (±90°) and rotate (±90°) the screen, which also allows for portrait mode (pivot) use. Adjust the spring tension using the included Allen key – simply turn the screw left or right to increase or decrease the tension.
A key advantage of the AlzaErgo Arm S50B Heavy Duty is the adjustable rotation limit lock. This lock lets you restrict the rotation from the standard ±135° to ±90°. Use this feature when you want to keep the monitor from extending past the edge of your desk, hitting the wall behind it, or encroaching on a colleague's desk opposite. This contributes to both safety and the long-term stability of your entire workstation setup.
The mount features universal VESA 75×75 and 100×100mm compatibility, covering most standard monitors on the market. The removable VESA plate makes installation extremely convenient – first attach the plate to the monitor, then simply slide the assembly onto the AlzaErgo Arm S50B Heavy Duty arm. This system greatly simplifies setup and any future workspace adjustments. It is also safer, as it minimises the risk of accidentally dropping the monitor during installation.
Mount the arm in one of two ways: directly to the desk edge using a clamp (10–85mm) or through the desktop using a grommet mount (10–48mm). This allows you to choose the solution that fits you best. After that, just fit the joints, tighten a few screws and the mount is ready to use. The mounting kit is included, and if you choose grommet mounting, you only need a drill.
