DLC coating

Made of 3× tempered CSG glass
High aluminium CSG glass is characterised by high durability and is widely used in military applications. In addition, compared to standard glass, it is tempered 3× (heated to very high temperatures) to achieve much higher strength and durability. This is proven by the rigorous Drop Ball Test – the glass withstands the impact of a 300g steel ball dropped from a height of 2m at least 3× without damage.
DLC coating – high scratch resistance
The AlzaGuard 3D DiamondShield screen protector features a special DLC (diamond-like carbon coating) finish, which achieves high hardness (up to 8 Mohs) approaching that of a diamond. This makes the glass much more mechanically resistant to scratches and helps extend its lifespan. An oleophobic layer that repels fingerprints and grease is standard. Despite its high durability, it does not limit touch sensitivity or screen brightness.
Flexible yet durable 3D resin edges
Another outstanding feature that contributes to the high durability of the AlzaGuard 3D DiamondShield screen protector is the UV-cured 3D resin edges. These offer the same strength as polished glass edges but with far greater flexibility. Combining CSG glass and resin significantly boosts the overall durability of the glass, particularly at the most vulnerable areas – the edges. The flexible resin gives the glass greater durability and better shock-absorption properties, ensuring the glass does not crack.
Everything needed for hassle-free installation
The package includes a cleaning cloth, an alcohol wipe, a dust removal sticker, a guide sticker and, last but not least, an installation frame. You do not need to worry about applying the glass yourself – just follow the steps in the enclosed manual. Full-surface adhesive then ensures perfect adhesion throughout its lifespan.
