APC Smart-UPS SRT 6000VA RM 230V for Stand

APC Smart-UPS SRT 6000VA RM 230V for Stand
The APC Smart-UPS SRT 6000VA RM is a rackmount UPS designed to protect servers and critical IT infrastructure. The system uses online double-conversion topology, which supplies a pure sine wave voltage and protects connected devices from all types of mains power disturbances. With a power output of 6000VA, which corresponds to a real power of 6000W, it can power even energy-demanding setups. An efficiency of 94.4% at both full and half load helps to reduce operating costs and heat generation. Its high power density in a compact 4U design saves valuable space in the server cabinet. The UPS is designed for rack mounting, where it occupies 4U of height and comes with mounting rails. It includes an integrated network management card and supports the addition of external battery packs to extend the backup time.
Key features of the APC Smart-UPS SRT 6000VA RM 230V rackmount UPS
- Online double-conversion topology for continuous protection
- Extendable backup time using external batteries
- Integrated card for network management and monitoring
- PowerChute software automatically shuts down connected systems
- Hot-swappable batteries without interrupting power
- Rackmount design for easy integration into a cabinet
- High power density in a compact 4U format
Power and protection
The online double-conversion topology continuously regenerates the supply voltage, protecting sensitive electronics from all mains power disturbances. The apparent power of 6000VA corresponds to a real power of 6000W. The automatic voltage regulation (AVR) function corrects mains fluctuations without switching to battery. The UPS's efficiency at full and half load is 94.4%, helping to reduce operating costs.
Battery and expansion options
The core is a 192V lead-acid battery (type APCRBC140) that you can hot-swap. A full recharge takes only 1.5 hours. To significantly extend the backup time, you can connect up to 10 external SRT192RMBP2 battery packs. Protective features include deep discharge protection and surge protection with 480J of energy absorption.
Network management and software
USB and Ethernet ports are used for management and communication. A pre-installed Network Management Card 3 is included, which enables remote monitoring and configuration of the device via a web interface or SNMP. The supplied PowerChute Network Shutdown software coordinates an automatic and safe shutdown of servers during a prolonged power outage. You can insert other function cards into the free SmartSlot interface.
Connectivity and sockets
You connect the input power via a hardwire 3-wire terminal block (H+N+E). A total of ten outputs are available for the connected load. The device offers six IEC C13 sockets and four more robust IEC C19 sockets for powering more powerful servers or network elements.
