Power for Ryzen processors
The ASUS PRIME A620AM-K motherboard uses a robust 6+2+1 phase digital power system with discrete MOSFETs. This power system provides a highly efficient and stable supply of power directly to AMD Ryzen processors. The Digi+ VRM digital voltage regulation minimises energy loss in real time and supports high system stability during demanding work. A multi-layer PCB with Stack Cool 3+ technology also ensures additional stability.
Support for modern DDR5 memory
The motherboard features two DIMM slots for DDR5 RAM with support for Dual-Channel operation and a total capacity of up to 128GB. Users can take advantage of advanced AMD EXPO profiles for easy overclocking of memory modules. ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile technology automatically detects the parameters of the installed memory chips and optimises performance even on basic modules without native EXPO profile support.
Storage with a PCIe 4.0 interface
For very fast loading of the operating system and demanding applications, the board offers one M.2 slot (type 2242/2260/2280). This slot uses the modern PCIe 4.0 ×4 interface, which achieves transfer speeds of up to 64Gb/s. To connect traditional hard drives and older SSDs, the board offers four Serial ATA III ports with a transfer speed of 6Gb/s and support for RAID arrays.
USB port selection
On the rear panel of the motherboard, you will find four fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports with a Type-A connector and two USB 2.0 ports. Using the internal connectors on the board, you can easily route additional USB ports directly to the front panel of your computer case. This rich selection of connectors lets you connect a large number of peripherals, such as keyboards, mice or external drives.
