Power and reliability
ASUS GPU Guard technology secures all four corners to reduce the risk of cracks, while a GPU bracket helps ensure even mounting pressure and greater stability. The printed circuit board has a protective conformal coating to help shield it from short circuits caused by moisture, dust, or debris. ASUS Auto-Extreme technology, an automated manufacturing process, completes all soldering in a single pass. A high-quality die-cast frame, shroud, and backplate securely reinforce the PCB.
Settings and modes
GPU Tweak III lets you easily fine-tune overclocking settings for high performance. Chassis fans can be synchronised directly with the card and tuned using a curve based on CPU and GPU temperatures. The card features Dual BIOS technology. In Performance mode, the fans spin up to keep the card consistently cool. Quiet mode maintains the same power target and top-end settings but offers a less aggressive fan curve for quieter operation at medium temperatures.
