High-capacity wireless connection
The tri-band system uses the modern WiFi 6 standard with support for wide 160MHz channels, significantly increasing network throughput. In the 2.4GHz band, it reaches speeds of up to 574Mbps. MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies increase network capacity by up to four times compared to older standards, enabling a stable connection for dozens of devices simultaneously without unwanted delays.
Mesh technology and network coverage
The system effectively covers an area of up to 5,800 square feet. A stable connection between individual nodes is maintained by nine internal antennas, which are positioned at various angles within the device's body. RangeBoost Plus technology actively optimises signal range, while an integrated smart antenna finds the best direction for the wireless backhaul, increasing the overall transmission performance between units by up to 15%.
ASUS ROG Rapture GT6 network security
Home network protection is handled at the hardware level by the AiProtection Pro security system with a lifetime licence. In addition to modern WPA3 encryption, the system includes a two-way IPS filter, malicious site blocking, and advanced parental controls for scheduling time spent online. Furthermore, the Instant Guard mobile technology creates a secure VPN connection to your home router, even when you are on an unsecured public Wi-Fi network.
Connectivity
The wired connection offers high-speed ports for stable, fluctuation-free data transfer. On the rear panel, there is one 2.5 Gigabit WAN port and three Gigabit LAN ports, which support link aggregation to achieve speeds of up to 2Gbps. The setup is completed by one fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 port for connecting external storage or sharing mobile internet via 4G and 5G modems.
