The glossy, black AlcoForce Galaxy breathalyser is an electrochemical tester for measuring alcohol in exhaled air. It combines a precise platinum electrochemical sensor with a modern processor, which ensures exceptionally accurate measurements over a wide range from 0 to 4 per mille. This is the same technology used in police breathalysers, for example. The test result is presented on a clear digital display, which, along with the LEDs and audible signal, is cleverly housed under the front part of the device. The AlcoForce Galaxy is a personal breathalyser. The option to change mouthpieces allows for hygienic use by several people.

Calibration is the process of checking the breathalyser's results against reference values. During calibration, the device's sensor and software are adjusted so that the alcohol content indicated on the display matches the alcohol content of the standard in the simulator-calibrator. The frequency of calibration depends on the breathalyser model and the technology of your sensor. Breathalysers with electrochemical sensors require calibration less often than models with a semiconductor sensor. The manufacturer will calibrate any AlcoForce breathalysers purchased within the last 12 months completely free of charge. For older devices, calibration can be performed for a fee.
