A breathalyser test for the presence of alcohol can be performed with the Draeger Alcotest 7000 using a mouthpiece or a funnel. Thanks to its exceptional measurement stability, the Draeger Alcotest 7000 only needs calibration once every 12 months. The maximum blood alcohol measurement value that can be measured with this breathalyser is up to 6 ‰. The integrated Bluetooth Low Energy technology offers you an energy-saving digital connection for the device and its data. The wireless connection of the breathalyser to the Draeger BT mobile printer allows you to print breathalyser test results from up to 15 metres away. The “Draeger add” software solution also makes a number of processes easier for you, such as precise location mapping, digitisation of personal data and on-site breathalyser test results. Draeger's software allows you to download the measured data. You can also connect the Alcotest 7000 directly to a computer using a USB-C cable and download the breathalyser test results. The breathalyser's patented heating system and high-quality materials ensure reliable results at temperatures from -10°C to +55°C.

Dräger Alcotest breath alcohol measuring devices use non-invasive measuring technologies with a high degree of hygiene for both the user and the person being tested. During the breathalyser test, the exhaled air is directed past the device, not through it. There is a 90° angle between the user and the test subject during the breath test. The disposable mouthpieces and funnel attachments are individually packaged. Advantages of the “Slide ‘n’ Click” mouthpieces: safe and hygienic distance between the user and the test subject, a spacer prevents direct contact between the mouth and the device, the mouthpiece can be easily removed, a non-return valve prevents inhalation of air through the mouthpiece. Advantages of the replaceable funnel attachment: no physical contact with the test subject, blocks the backflow of the test subject's own exhaled air, which prevents the inhalation of potential pathogens from previous test subjects.

Package contents:
Measuring device, 3 mouthpieces, hand strap, USB-C cable and calibration certificate
Usage:
A breathalyser test using the funnel attachment will give you an initial indication of whether or not alcohol is present in the test subject's breath. If the answer is yes, you simply switch the device to breathalyser test mode with a mouthpiece by pressing a button. The subsequent breathalyser test will then show you the actual alcohol level in the test subject's breath.
