The GEKO piston ring removal service kit consists of 12 tools in total, including clamps, pliers and interchangeable blades. It makes removing piston rings very simple and safe. A major advantage of the kit is definitely its ease of use. The pliers are used to remove and install piston rings without the risk of damaging any parts. Squeezing the handles opens the piston ring, which is held by the side jaws thanks to the spreading of the central jaws. Releasing the grip allows the ring to be placed in the groove around the piston. The tool for cleaning piston grooves of accumulated deposits is equipped with three discs with blades. The blade is adapted to the corresponding piston diameter by moving the disc along the flat bar. In addition, the piston ring compressor helps to fit the piston into the engine block.
