The GÜDE GIS 162 portable welding power supply is designed for manual arc welding with coated electrodes with a diameter of 1.6-4.0 mm (MMA) and enables welding of non-alloyed structural steels with rutile electrodes. It offers infinitely adjustable welding current in the range of 10-160 A. Thanks to the microprocessor control unit and IGBT transistors, it provides advanced features such as HOT START for easier arc ignition, ARC FORCE for arc stabilization and ANTI STICK to reduce electrode sticking. The device is also suitable for tungsten electrode welding in a protective atmosphere (WIG). The design includes a sheet steel shell, quick connectors for easy cable connection, overheat protection, fan cooling and a shoulder strap for comfortable carrying.
