The GYS STARTRONIC SUPERCAP jump starter is a professional, autonomous starter that operates without an internal battery. Instead, it uses supercapacitor technology, which charges from the vehicle's residual battery voltage in just a few minutes. It is designed for jump-starting both 12V and 24V petrol and diesel engines. Thanks to its design, it is completely maintenance-free and has a lifespan of up to 10,000 starts without any loss of performance. The starter works even after years of storage and withstands extreme temperatures.

Battery-free operation thanks to supercapacitors
The core of this jump starter is a set of ten supercapacitors (10×950F), which completely replace a traditional lead-acid or lithium battery. This technology offers maintenance-free operation and a long lifespan. The starter does not need regular recharging and remains fully functional even after several years in storage. Its performance does not degrade with the number of cycles, as confirmed by its lifespan of up to 10,000 starts. The construction is also resistant to extreme temperatures from -40°C to +65°C.
Fast charging right in the field
One of its main advantages is its ability to charge ultra-fast without needing to be connected to the mains. The starter uses the residual voltage from the vehicle's battery, taking just 2 to 5 minutes to fully charge the capacitors if the battery voltage is above 7V. Alternatively, the starter can be recharged from a running engine's battery in 2 to 3 minutes. For situations where the vehicle's battery is heavily discharged, a 'BYPASS' mode is available for an emergency start, which overrides this requirement.
Safe starting with a digital overview
Operating the starter is safe thanks to its integrated electronics and clear digital display. On the screen, you can monitor the charge status of the supercapacitors, the vehicle's battery voltage, and other information about ongoing operations. The system delivers a high starting current of up to 1050A for 12V systems and 880A for 24V systems. Protection against short circuits and reverse polarity is included, safeguarding both the starter itself and the vehicle's sensitive electronics from damage.
