The pedestals provide a load capacity of up to 3 tonnes, allowing most cars and light trucks to be lifted and supported. The stated load capacity of 3 tonnes refers to the use of two pedestals, so for safety reasons both must always be used. They are made of steel and can reach heights from 285 mm up to 425 mm. Securing with cotter pins ensures that the pedestals stay firmly in place, minimising the risk of accidental slipping. The supports of the pedestals are made of rubber, which will provide firm support for the car body and at the same time prevent scratching of the paintwork.
