SIXTOL Refractometer for measuring car operating fluids

Package contents:
Refractometer for measuring car operating fluids, a practical and mechanically durable plastic case, a pipette for sample collection, a screwdriver for calibrating the device, an antistatic cleaning cloth for the optical prism

Instructions for use:
1. Use the pipette to draw a small amount of liquid.
2. Lift the cover plate and apply 2–3 drops of liquid to the device's prism.
3. Lower the cover plate back down so that the measured liquid is spread evenly over the prism surface without any air bubbles.
4. After 30 seconds, point the cover plate towards a light source and look into the eyepiece.
5.The image needs to be focused using the focusing ring. Read the position of the light/dark boundary on the appropriate scale, which indicates the properties of the liquid.

Freezing point of ethylene glycol-based coolant:
Range: -50–0°C, accuracy: ±5°C

Freezing point of propylene glycol-based coolant:
Range: -50–0°C, accuracy: ±5°C

Density of battery electrolyte:
Range: 1.10–1.40g/cm³, accuracy: ±0.01g/cm³

Freezing point of windscreen washer antifreeze:
Range: -40–10°C, accuracy: ±5°C
