AVACOM battery 12V 20Ah M5 DeepCycle

Avacom DeepCycle is a traction battery with a 20Ah capacity and 12V voltage, designed for cyclic discharging. Deep Cycle technology is suitable for applications with repeated deep discharging, such as wheelchairs, motorhomes, boats or solar systems. The VRLA AGM construction binds the electrolyte in glass fleece, making the battery maintenance-free and capable of operating in any position. It features a lifespan of up to 800 charging cycles.

Designed for cyclic loads

This battery is designed for cyclic discharging, meaning it handles repeated deep discharge and subsequent full charge. Unlike starter batteries, it is optimised for long-term power supply to appliances. This makes it ideal for a wide range of devices, such as electric wheelchairs, fishing boats, motorhome power supplies or energy storage in photovoltaic systems. Its lifespan reaches up to 800 charging cycles.

Maintenance-free AGM technology

At the heart of the Avacom battery lies maintenance-free VRLA AGM technology. The electrolyte is not in a liquid state, but is absorbed into a non-woven glass fibre fabric (Absorbed Glass Mat). This closed valve-regulated system (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) prevents acid leaks and requires no distilled water top-ups throughout its lifespan. You can therefore safely install and operate the battery in any position without the risk of electrolyte spillage.

Specifications and connection of the Avacom battery

The battery operates with a nominal voltage of 12V and offers a capacity of 20Ah. Inside, you will find six cells. An M5 type connector in the form of screw terminals serves for connecting appliances. The battery can act as a direct replacement for a range of other models, such as CTC18-12, EVH12240 or WP20-12IE, simplifying the selection process when replacing an old battery.
