The AXAGON ADE-TXCA external network adapter easily converts a USB-C or USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port into a Gigabit Ethernet port. Using the cable with a USB-C end, which has a USB-C to USB-A adapter attached, you can connect the Ethernet adapter to any computer, tablet or phone. The USB network adapter is compatible with speeds of 10/100/1000Mbit/s, giving your computer a fast and stable network connection, adding a missing RJ-45 connector, providing an additional network card, or replacing a faulty original network connection.

In addition to gigabit throughput, the LAN adapter offers a wide range of features such as IPv4/IPv6 checksum to reduce CPU load from checksums, crossover detection and auto-correction, TCP large send offload, support for various Wake-on-LAN modes, VLAN operation, and advanced Power Management features.

The metal body of the adapter is made of aluminium, providing perfect mechanical protection and excellent heat dissipation. Its compact dimensions and minimal weight make it an ideal accessory for laptops and other mobile devices. Support for current versions of Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, and Android means it can be used with any desktop computer, notebook or ultrabook equipped with a modern reversible USB-C connector or a classic USB-A connector. In Windows 8.1 and higher, the adapter offers simple automatic installation without needing an internet connection. The Ethernet adapter is also great for tablet or mobile phone users whose devices support a wired Ethernet connection. Additionally, the chip used in the adapter ensures it's also supported by the Nintendo Switch games console's operating system.
