The passive aluminum cooler AXAGON CLR-M2XT ALU is designed for intensive cooling of high-performance NVMe M.2 SSDs. The universal heatsink can be used for M.2 cards with a size of 22 x 80 mm. The package includes heat shrink pads that allow the cooler to be mounted for all single- and double-sided M.2 SSDs.
The overall height of 24 mm and the passive height of 20 mm allow the cooler to be placed even in a case with limited space. The aluminum passivated cross-ribbing and metal frame optimize heat dissipation from the M.2 SSD, which can reduce drive temperature by up to 30°C. This prolongs the life of the SSD and prevents slowing down of the disk speed, the so-called. "Thermal Throttling".
The cooler can be used not only with AXAGON M.2 adapters, but also with M.2 (NGFF) slots on motherboards, etc. Thanks to the large cooling surface and metal frame, heat is efficiently dissipated from both sides of the M.2 drive to achieve maximum cooling efficiency.
