Modular Construction and Updates
The Beosound A5 is not just built to last, but also to evolve. Its modular design allows for easy replacement of parts, so the speaker can be easily repaired without having to buy a new one. You will also appreciate the software updates that bring new features, making your music listening experience better and better.
Flexible Integration
The wireless speaker is built on the powerful Mozart 2.0 platform and supports all common streaming technologies to make listening easier. Immerse yourself in stereo sound by simply pairing two Beosound A5s or connect the speaker to your existing Wi-Fi audio system or any compatible wireless system.
Number of Channels
The number of channels in speaker systems and home cinemas indicates the number of independent audio signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in the X.Y format (e.g., 2.0, 5.1). It denotes how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the spatial experience and bass depth of the system, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround sound (5.1 and higher).
System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier, and to listen, you just need to connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly. Passive speakers are more often referred to as speaker systems. They are intended more for high-quality, loud, and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect various sources through a separate amplifier.Specifications
