Both pregnancy and breastfeeding are energetically demanding periods for mothers. During this period, moms may have an increased need for magnesium. This dietary supplement contains a daily dose of 380 mg (2 capsules) of highly absorbable chelated form of magnesium (magnesium bisglycinate) in combination with vitamin B6 in the active form of pyridoxine-5′-phosphate (P5P). Magnesium and vitamin B6 contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system, mental activity, normal energy metabolism, and a reduction in the level of fatigue and exhaustion. Magnesium also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, contributes to normal muscle function and is involved in the process of cell division. Vitamin B6 also contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the production of red blood cells and the regulation of hormonal activity.
