Light source and energy-saving operation
The projector uses a lamp as its light source, which has a lifespan of 6000 hours in standard mode. Power-saving modes reduce operating costs. In ECO mode, the lifespan extends to 10,000 hours. SmartEco mode dynamically adjusts the lamp's power according to the content being projected, saving up to 70% energy and extending the lifespan to 10,000 hours. The LampSave mode offers an even longer lamp life, extending it up to 15,000 hours. In ECO mode, the fan noise drops from 34dB to 29dB. The projector's typical power consumption is 260W.
Flexible projection and easy installation
The BenQ MW560C projector allows for flexible placement thanks to its short-throw capability. A projection ratio of 1.55 ~ 1.7 creates a large image even in smaller rooms, with a projection distance from 1.5 metres. Automatic vertical keystone correction within a ±30-degree range simplifies and speeds up the process of setting the correct image shape. For fine-tuning the image size without moving the projector, it offers a 1.1× optical zoom. A retractable foot further simplifies installation for quick tilt adjustments. The projector can be placed on a table or mounted on the ceiling.
Projector connectivity options
For connecting signal sources, the BenQ MW560C projector offers an HDMI 1.4a port and an analogue VGA (D-SUB) input. A 3.5mm audio input is available for connecting external audio devices. The USB Type-A port powers connected smart devices. USB Mini B and RS232 connectors are used for service and management purposes. The projector turns on instantly upon detecting a signal at the HDMI input. It also automatically shuts down after 20 minutes of inactivity to save energy.
