Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel offers an innovative way to care for dry skin. Its main advantage is its oil-based formula, where water has been replaced by oil. This prevents the disruption of the skin's natural protective oil layer. The gel contains only a minimal amount of water (3%), which is just enough to dissolve the humectants. Bi-Oil Gel effectively treats dry and dehydrated skin, providing it with hydration and protecting it from drying out. In addition to Bi-Oil, it is also enriched with shea butter and other oils that prevent moisture loss. The product is non-comedogenic and is also suitable for sensitive skin.
Active ingredients:
The oil component, containing Bi-Oil, shea butter and other oils, hydrates the skin and prevents moisture loss.
Use:
Apply Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel as needed. For persistent dry skin, apply twice daily – morning and evening. For optimal results, apply to cleansed skin after a shower or bath. If you use other products, apply them only after Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel has been fully absorbed into the skin. Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel was specially formulated for the body, but you can also use it on your face. Applying creams, body lotions and butters to dry skin requires a large amount because these products are mostly made of water, which evaporates on contact with the skin. As Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel is made of 84% oil, butter and wax, Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel can be safely used during pregnancy.
Storage:
Store Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
Possible side effects:
Although Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel has a safe toxicological profile and meets international regulations in this regard, as with all cosmetic products, there is a risk of side effects in users. If a side effect occurs, discontinue use of the product immediately. Symptoms of an adverse skin reaction may include rashes, swelling and inflammation, which usually occur at the site of application. These reactions may be accompanied by itching and mild discomfort. In most cases, side effects will subside within two to three days of discontinuing use. Until the skin returns to its original state, it may appear dry and flaky after the reaction has subsided. If you have any concerns about a possible allergic reaction to Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel, we recommend performing a simple allergy test to check. To do this, apply a small amount of the product to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours to see if a reaction occurs. Noticeable redness of the skin (erythema) or slight swelling of the skin (oedema) may indicate a possible allergic reaction.
Warning:
Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel is intended for topical cosmetic application only. Do not apply it to open wounds or broken skin. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. In the event of accidental ingestion of Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel, adverse effects beyond nausea and diarrhoea are unlikely, as it is not a toxic product. However, we recommend seeking medical advice, especially in the case of accidental ingestion by an infant or child. The appearance of Bi-Oil Dry Skin Gel may change under two conditions. The first condition is when the gel is exposed to extremely high or low temperatures for an extended period. Extremely high temperatures cause the surface of the gel to dry out, which is exacerbated if the container is left uncapped. Conversely, extremely low temperatures can cause the product to freeze. In both cases, the gel may appear white. The second condition is when water or other liquid enters the container during use. The liquid will react with the emulsifier in the product, causing an emulsification process. This results in the gel turning white and changing its consistency.
