The telescope has an azimuth mounting system that allows azimuth movement, i.e. rotation in the horizontal and vertical axis. The equipment includes an eyepiece which, when inserted into the focal tube, allows the image captured by the lens to be magnified. The built-in compass, which observers use to determine direction and orientation in the sky, will definitely come in handy.
