Wireless Connection
The signal is transmitted via radio frequency in the 2.4GHz band. The USB nano receiver plugs directly into a free port on your desktop or laptop. This system does not require any driver installation and works immediately after being connected to the computer. The wireless transmission helps to keep your desk free of excess cables. The signal range from the USB receiver is up to 10m.
Optical Sensor
Movement is tracked by an integrated optical sensor with a fixed resolution of 1,000 DPI. This value is perfectly sufficient for common office tasks, working in spreadsheets and browsing websites. The sensor responds reliably on common surfaces without the need for a special mouse pad. The optical motion detection technology transfers your hand movements to the screen of the connected device with high precision.
Power and Battery Life
The device is powered by a single AA alkaline battery. The manufacturer states that the operating life on this single power cell is up to 1 year. Low power consumption reduces the frequency of battery changes throughout the year. The required AA battery is included in the package, so the device can be put into operation immediately after unpacking.
Controls and Symmetrical Design
The device has three standard clickable buttons, which include the left button, right button and a middle button integrated into the scroll wheel. There is one mechanical scroll wheel for vertical page scrolling in documents. The classic button layout makes everyday work with web browsers easier. Clicking the individual buttons has a clearly defined tactile response. The design meets the requirements for ambidextrous use at home and in the office. The body has a symmetrical shape suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users, increasing its versatility when shared in a single workplace. Its low weight of 54g makes it easy to handle when carried in a bag for long periods. Its compact physical dimensions of 9.5 × 5 × 3mm make the device a suitable companion for working on the go.
