Light parameters of the Eglo ZARATE spotlight
The integrated LED source emits a warm white light with a colour temperature of 3000K. This value meets the standard requirements for lighting in relaxation areas. The colour rendering index is 80Ra, ensuring a faithful display of colours in the illuminated space. The light source has a service life of 15000 hours, reducing the need for frequent maintenance and replacement. The light fitting has a G energy rating with a power consumption of 2W. The light source is an integral part of the light fitting's body and cannot be replaced by the user.
Construction and dimensions
The square spotlight has external dimensions of 80×80×40mm, with an installation depth of exactly 40mm. The manufacturer has chosen a combination of aluminium alloy and plastic to keep the total weight of the light fitting at 150g. The recessed system requires a mounting hole with a diameter of 63mm for correct fitting into the prepared suspended ceiling. The black finish of the aluminium body is complemented by a white plastic diffuser that disperses the emitted light into the surrounding space without glare.
Installing the Eglo ZARATE spotlight
The construction of the light fitting is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting in dry indoor spaces. The IP20 rating indicates resistance to the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5mm in diameter, but does not provide protection against the ingress of water or moisture. It requires a standard mains voltage in the range of 220–240V at the frequency common in domestic electrical systems. The installation itself is carried out by recessing it into a prepared plasterboard ceiling or wall panel.
Economy and reliability
The light fitting consumes only 2W of electricity while maintaining a luminous flux of 90lm, contributing to economical operation. The integrated LED technology eliminates the need for additional purchase or subsequent replacement of light sources during its entire service life. The LED source is an integral part of the light fitting and operates without the need for any maintenance.
