The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA B BL/A/60 induction hob was designed by ELICA designer Fabrizio Crisa. It stands out with its built-in extractor hood. Made from high-quality safety glass, it's easy to control using the ergonomic touch control panel. The extraction system with a central fan reliably captures fumes. It communicates with the hob, receiving information from the cooking zones to automatically set the optimal extraction levels. It is available in both extraction and recirculation modes. The hob features a timer; once the time is up, the cooking zone switches off and an audible beep sounds. Using the touch controls, you can easily set timers independently for multiple cooking zones.
The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA B hob is ideal for kitchens without a traditional cooker hood, as it comes equipped with its own extractor which offers 4 speeds and an intensive mode. It achieves an extraction rate of 205–455 m³/h, and 580 m³/h in intensive mode. It efficiently extracts fumes even during intensive cooking, with a noise level of 43–67dB(A). The extractor hood has an ALU grease filter. It can also be used in recirculation mode using the KIT0167756 or KIT0167757 recirculation kits, which are not included.
The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA B hob offers 4 cooking zones with a power of 1.2–3kW. It has several practical functions to make cooking easier. With the Autocapture function, the extractor hood automatically identifies the active cooking areas, adjusting its power accordingly to ensure the optimal balance between noise, performance and energy efficiency. Once you finish cooking and switch off the cooking zones, the extractor system adapts by gradually reducing the extraction to remove any residual fumes and odours. The Warming Mode function keeps prepared food warm while other dishes are still cooking. You can use it for low-temperature cooking, heating milk, cream or sauces, or for simmering homemade broth.
If you need to leave the kitchen and pause your cooking, just use the Stop & Go function, which switches off all active cooking zones and saves the current power settings for each zone in the hob's memory. The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA B hob features Pot Self-Detection technology, which automatically detects cookware on the cooking zones. Once cookware is detected, the controls on the control panel light up, letting you set the desired power level.
The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA B hob offers safe operation. Especially in households with children, you will appreciate the Child Lock function, which ensures that the cooking zones or extractor cannot be switched on. You activate the function when the hob is on. However, the cooking zones and extractor will remain off. In recirculation mode, the hob uses the Long Life Filter++ carbon filter, which provides over 80% filtration efficiency. It has a lifespan of up to 3 years and can be regenerated. Regenerating it every 2 to 3 months with a simple procedure maintains its properties and efficiency.
