Smart connectivity and integration
EMOS GoSmart uses an open system with support for Tuya, Smart Life and Lidl Home, allowing easy integration with other smart devices in your home. The 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection allows you to control it from anywhere, even when you're not at home. In the mobile app, you can schedule up to 10 feedings per day, manage portions and receive notifications. Support for voice commands via Tuya is available for connection to voice assistants. The application responds in real time using the WebRTC protocol and provides a secure data stream from the camera.
Monitoring and interaction with the pet
The integrated camera with Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and 118° angle offers a view of the feeding mode and the pet's activities during meals. Thanks to the IR-CUT filter, the camera allows night vision up to 5 m. Motion detection triggers in-app alerts and allows you to record video of the moment your pet approaches the feeder. You can use the microphone and speaker for two-way communication - to call your pet to the feeder or to say "Bon appetit". The camera is positionable so you can point it directly at the bowl or other point of interest.
Reliability and protection
The feeder is powered via USB-C 5 V/1 A, but it also has a backup power supply using 3× D-batteries that activate the automatic mode in case of power failure. Additional safety features include an anti-jam mechanism, ant protection and a moisture absorber in the feed hopper. The status of the dispenser is monitored - you will receive a notification if the mechanism freezes or there is a shortage of feed. The stainless steel bowl is easy to remove and clean, the size and shape reduce the risk of spillage.
