A case for high-end PCs
The Fractal Design Define 7 XL Black case offers an interesting improvement where you can temporarily remove the entire top panel. This significantly simplifies the installation of necessary components. You can easily install up to 10 drives in the Fractal Design Define 7 XL Black case, specifically 8× 3.5" and 2× 2.5". However, by purchasing expansion brackets, you can install up to 23 drives.
Internal space of the PC case
The internal dimensions are ideal for fitting nine fans or up to 480mm radiators for water cooling. You can also use graphics cards up to 359mm in length. If you don't need the drive cage, the graphics card can be up to 549mm long. The graphics card can also be mounted vertically using the optional riser module.
Top I/O panel and cabling
The I/O elements of the Fractal Design Define 7 XL Black case are dominated by a circular power button. The four elements on the left include headphone and microphone jacks, a small Reset button, and the sought-after new-generation USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C connector with a transfer speed of up to 10 Gb/s. The four ports on the right are split into older USB 2.0 and 3.0 connectors. The Fractal Design Define 7 XL offers plenty of space for hidden cable routing and its subsequent organisation.
