Instant warning upon water detection
When it comes into contact with liquid, the Frient water leak detector triggers a built-in 85dB siren (at a distance of 3m). This audible signal alerts people in the house to the emerging danger. The device sends an instant notification to your mobile phone via the connected hub, which enables a quick response even when you're away.
Smart home integration
The sensor uses the Zigbee 3.0 wireless protocol for communication, ensuring compatibility with platforms like SmartThings or Homey. Users can set up automatic scenarios to protect their home, such as turning off the main water supply when a leak is detected. The compact circular body with a 60mm diameter makes it easy to place in tight spaces under appliances.
Long battery life and stable operation
Power is provided by a single replaceable CR123A battery, which is included with the device. The device has very low power consumption and boasts an operational life of up to 5 years with the standard five-minute status reporting interval. The detector regularly sends information about the current battery status and warns you in advance before it runs out, thus preventing an unexpected shutdown of the entire system.
Room temperature monitoring
In addition to detecting liquids, the Frient water leak detector includes an integrated temperature sensor. The sensor measures temperatures ranging from 0°C to +50°C with a resolution of 0.1°C and a typical accuracy of ±0.5°C. This gives the user an additional overview of the climate in the monitored room and can promptly reveal the risk of pipes freezing, which helps to prevent further damage caused by frost.
Option to add an external probe
The device's design enables the connection of an external probe with a 90cm cable, which is sold separately. This accessory makes it easier to take measurements in hard-to-reach places, such as narrow gaps under kitchen units. You can then mount the detector itself on the wall and place only the probe on the floor.
Reliability at all times
The device operates in a temperature range of 0°C to +50°C and can handle air humidity up to 95% without condensation. The wireless range is at least 100 metres in open space, which ensures a stable connection with the control unit even in larger properties. The high sensitivity of the sensors detects even the first drops of leaking liquid, with alarm mode reports sent immediately to ensure safety.
