Ion Fury: Double Shot Edition - Nintendo Switch
Ion Fury: Double Shot Edition - Nintendo Switch
Fast action FPS
Ion Fury Nintendo Switch is an honest old-school FPS that relies on fast-paced action, sharp shootouts and uncompromising pace. It returns to the roots of the genre and offers exactly the type of entertainment that fans of classic shooters remember and love.
The golden era of FPS
Together with Voidpoint, 3D Realms is reviving the legendary Build Engine, which has been used to create iconic games such as Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior and Blood. As a result, Ion Fury Nintendo Switch feels authentic, has a distinctive style and honours the traditions of the golden era of FPS.
Intense fights
Expansive levels full of secret locations, hidden bonuses and unexpected surprises await you. Ion Fury Nintendo Switch offers intense combat, cleverly designed maps and pure action fun.
TURN
Learn how to control bombs
The protagonist Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison earned her name defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force. But when the perverse transhumanist genius Dr. Jadus Heskel launches the futuristic Neo D onto the streets. C. his cyber sect, the tables are turning. It is time to stop resisting the explosions and start controlling them. Without hesitation, Shelly embarks on a dangerous journey with only one thing at stake, Heskel's destruction.
ALTERNATIVES
Focus on quick responses
Her trek through the city wreaks havoc in huge, non-linear levels full of alternate paths, hidden corners and secret places. Fierce, often inhumanly strong enemies lurk at every turn in Ion Fury Nintendo Switch, and the game doesn't spare you for a moment. Forget about health regeneration and cautious looking out from behind cover, movement, quick reactions and constant fire wins here.
GUNS
Experiment with weapons
The arsenal of weapons is as excessive as the action itself. Each weapon offers alternative firing modes and different types of ammunition that encourage experimentation. The iconic three-barrel Loverboy revolver can mow down enemies with precision shots and frantic "western" spraying. Why use a regular shotgun when you can load buckshot into a grenade launcher? And brutal Bowling Bombs turn entire groups of opponents into bloody wrecks in seconds.
FPS
With driver support
Ion Fury Nintendo Switch mocks linear corridors and mandatory checkpoints, but cleverly combines an old-school approach with modern elements. Headshots make sense, the physics and interactivity of the environments add to the dynamic nature of the fights, and technical tweaks like widescreen resolution, controller support and autosave make the gameplay more enjoyable. The result is an uncompromising FPS experience that takes the best of the past and present and serves it up in raw, explosive form.
