Geis - Dimensional shipments

The Geis shipping company usually delivers dimensional goods within 24 hours from the order handout to the carrier. Below you will find more detailed information regarding this goods delivery option.

• Delivery area: the entire Czech Republic
• Delivery days: working days
• Delivery time: usually within 24 hours (after order confirmation)
  • Applies if you order by 18:00 on the day before* and if all items in your order are in stock
• Delivery time: 8:00 - 17:00

In case of delivery to a private address, the driver will contact you by phone at least 2 hours prior to the shipment delivery, not earlier than at 7:30. In the event of an unsuccessful delivery attempt, the driver will make a second attempt the following day.

A precise selection of a delivery time is unfortunately impossible. If you cannot be reached by the carrier, you will receive information about the next delivery date in your mailbox.

* Orders received on weekends and public holidays are handed over to the next business day and delivered the next business day

Types of services provided

Delivery behind the first lockable door

• The goods are delivered by the driver to your address and placed behind the first lockable door.
  • If the dimensions of the order do not allow delivery of the goods behind the first lockable door, in front of the first lockable door is considered to be the point of delivery.

Delivery to the aparment with help from a driver

• The goods are delivered by the driver to your apartment using the basic handling equipment and, if necessary, he will ask for help in order to avoid any damage to the goods or property.
  • Deliveries to an apartment with a driver's assistance can only be used for products not exceeding 100kg.

Remove an oldappliance

• For both delivery methods, it is possible to purchase the service "Remove an old appliance."
  • The driver will take your old appliance, which must be disconnected, complete and cleaned. Refrigerators or freezers must be defrosted and dried.
  • Removing an old appliance is only possible in a 1:1 mode.
  • Removing an old appliance may only take place at the same time as delivering new goods.
  • If necessary, the driver may also ask you to assist with the removal of an old appliance from your apartment in order to avoid any damage to the property.
  • In case of selecting the delivery behind the first lockable door, the old appliance must be ready for removal behind the first lockable door.

* In case of a cash on delivery order, it is unfortunately not possible to pay the carrier by card, payment is possible only in cash.

For more information on the shipment, you will need a shipping number that can be found in the invoices section or in your mailbox the next day after the order is dispatched.

Takeover and claims

Before accepting the shipment, please check the packaging intact, specifically:

• Inviolacy of the safety tape
• Damage to the packaging - corrugated corners, punctured plastic cover film or packaging, broken polystyrene, etc.

If the packaging is damaged in any way, please state your reservation in the delivery receipt: "Accepted with reservations, damaged packaging".
