Power and memory subsystem
The processor is powered by a digital power delivery with an 8+2+2 phase layout. The memory subsystem supports four DDR5 modules in a dual-channel configuration with a maximum capacity of up to 256GB. When overclocking with AMD EXPO and XMP profiles, you can achieve speeds of up to 8200 MT/s. The X3D Turbo Mode feature in the BIOS optimises gaming performance through specific parameters to reduce latency.
Expansion slots and storage
For installing a graphics card, there is a main PCIe 5.0 ×16 slot, which provides the throughput for modern graphics accelerators and is equipped with the PCIe EZ-Latch mechanism for easy card removal. Storage can be configured using two M.2 slots. The primary slot supports the PCIe 5.0 ×4 interface for very fast NVMe SSDs and is protected by a passive M.2 Thermal Guard heatsink, while the second slot operates in PCIe 4.0 ×4 mode. There are also four SATA III connectors with support for RAID arrays.
Network connectivity
Connectivity is provided by a Realtek 2.5GbE LAN network adapter, which offers high transfer speeds. The rear panel has a wide range of USB ports, including one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and one red USB-A 3.2 Gen 2. The integrated graphics video output is handled by two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.1 port with support for resolutions up to 4096×2160. The Q-Flash Plus function lets you update the BIOS without needing to install a processor, memory or graphics card.
